What is TTEM?

TTEM covers a variety of Transformational Tools and Energy Modalities such as Qigong, Zhan Zhuang, Reiki, Healing, Yoga, Meditation, Energy Psychotherapy, Mind and Psi, Diet and Nutrition, amongst others as well as some Oriental/Experiential Philosophies - Buddhism, Taoism, Sufism, Vedanta, Shamanism.   It is not aligned to any one modality, tool or philosophy but celebrates diversity and respect for all paths and all peoples.

The Paradigm Shift

On the one hand an increasing amount of objective scientific research is verifying what many people have known and asserted over time: (a) that consciousness pocket option has properties well beyond what can be described by a scientific-materialist worldview and (b) that 'subtle' energy has real effects. On the other hand an increasing number of people are practicing tools and techniques which were formerly closed and indeed mostly unknown to any others than adepts who had spent decades sweeping forecourts. To develop this new paradigm we need the "best of both worlds" ... the rigour of disciplined investigation, objective reporting, independent corroboration ("science as method") with the first person "existing IS the ultimate subjective perspective".

The worst of both worlds would be to try and fit any new observations/data into an old paradigm on the one hand, whilst on the other having a world view that amounts to little more than unverifiable personal belief. This is not to say that we don't all operate with some model of what the world is all about (impossible not to) and equally that we shouldn't have beliefs (we all do). However in trying to take inputs from all cultures, all angles, all folks we can leanr to live with and respect the differences whilst coming to a greater understanding of the core of The Way Things Really Are beyond personal belief, cultural, social and religious conditioning.

Of course part of this is driven by mankind's innate curiosity - we would all like to know wouldn't we? However the greater benefit surely lies in knowing our-selves better, knowing the world better, and knowing what is possible by way of transformation. We are all limited by our "reality tunnel" - both in terms of what we think we can (and cannot) do and what we think is real and what is not. So personal growth and happiness is the prize :-)

From an objective 'scientific' perspective, as Dean Radin has put it:

"When discussing the reality of psi phenomena, especially from the scientific perspective, one question always hovers in the background: You mean this is for real? In the midst of all the nonsense and excessive silliness proclaimed in the name of psychic phenomena, the misinformed use of the term parapsychology by self-proclaimed "paranormal investigators," the perennial laughing stock pocket option broker of magicians and conjurers " this is for real?" The short answer is, Yes.

A more elaborate answer is, psi has been shown to exist in thousands of experiments. There are disagreements over to how to interpret the evidence, but the fact is that virtually all scientists who have studied the evidence, including the hard-nosed skeptics, now agree that there is something interesting going on that merits serious scientific attention."

From a subjective perspective as more folks study formerly esoteric practices such as energy work and meditation, the "normal", "everyday", "accepted" worldview of a Universe that is merely material is seen, felt and reliably understood to be a mere subset. By accessing a broader perception via amended states of consciousness (the main one being simply to quieten that "chatterbox in the head!) one comes to know a richer picture of reality than that portrayed in school science textbooks. It is also a more existentially meaningful one ;-)

The TTEM Forum

The purpose of TTEM is to facilitate this paradigm shift by gathering together in one place information and experiences and providing a forum for discussion of such matters.  It is for practitioners of Transformational Arts - the focus is on direct experience and knowledge rather than (non-transformational) speculation.  Whilst a number of members have considerable expertise and experience in certain areas, we subscribe to the "peer group learning model" i.e. we all know a lot more about a little than everyone else but everyone else together know far more about far more.  If you wish to browse, an editorial selection of some representative material is here.

The value of a network is exponentially related to the number of its members so we are always on the look out for new contributors. You are probably unlikely to find much detailed info about your favourite modality here but you are likely to find a load of stuff you didn't know about.  If we all put in a little we all get out a lot :-)  If you wish to post then you need to join as pocket option download for pc a member and agree to the following House Rules:

No disrespect - of people or ideas!

Gullibility is dumb, scepticism is ok but open-mindedness is better.

We do not believe there is only one truth for all people at all times.  No "one-club golfers" ;-)

I know this page lacks design, but its just a holding note as we seem to be generating guests and visitors at quite a rate, and I don't have time to do a proper design job right now. Ozymandias.
